I've spent close to a decade inside the operational core of real estate, title, and mortgage transactions: the contract reviews, the compliance checkpoints, the calendars that can't slip. My relationship with my current team goes back roughly eight years. I started in admin support, stepped away when a mortgage-industry opportunity came along, and kept getting pulled back, first informally, then part-time, until I rejoined for good, earned my license, and became a full broker in 2022. That kind of staying power isn't an accident. It's the reason people keep asking me back.
Day to day, I'm the person keeping high-volume transactions moving without dropping a compliance requirement: preparing and reviewing listing agreements, leases, and contracts, reconciling escrow accounts against RESPA and state regulations, coordinating closings across buyers, sellers, lenders, and attorneys, and managing calendars and deadlines across several active deals at once. I'm equally comfortable on the technology side, including CRM systems, transaction management software, e-signature platforms, and Canva, and I've run marketing and social content for active listings on top of the compliance work.
I'm intentionally moving away from real estate sales. The part of my career I enjoyed most was the operational and compliance side of the mortgage industry. I was let go from a mortgage lender in a 2022 industry-wide slowdown, not for performance, and I've been looking to get back to that world ever since. I'm targeting mortgage operations, transaction management, or legal assistant roles where my detail-oriented, deadline-driven skill set applies outside of a real estate license. I'm flexible on work arrangement and available to start immediately.
